At a glance
- Your game progress and settings are stored on your device. Our games don’t currently send them to a server of ours, and there are no player accounts.
- Games with ads use Google AdMob. Google may process device and usage information to deliver and measure ads.
- Players under 18, and players who don’t tell us their age, only get ads suitable for children, and those ads aren’t personalized.
- Where required, our games ask for your privacy choices before ads use your information, and you can change them later.
- If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you send.
- We don’t sell your information.
Information stored on your device
To let you play and keep your progress, our games store information on your device, such as puzzle or level progress, rewards, virtual items and currency, and your settings. Games with ads also store what they need to manage ad rewards and the time before another full-screen ad may appear. Our games lists what each game stores.
This information stays on your device. It isn’t uploaded to an Epos Game Studios server.
Your device may include app data in its own backups (for example, Android backup to your Google account), depending on your device settings. Those backups are handled by your device and backup provider, not by us.
Language and location
Our games start in English unless you’ve already picked another supported language. Your choice is stored on your device. Our games don’t use GPS or look up your country to choose a language.
If we add automatic language selection based on your location, we’ll update this notice before turning it on, explaining what information is used, which services receive it, and the choices you have.
Age and children
Some of our games, including Color Sort, are designed for players of all ages, including children. These games ask on first start whether you’re 18 or older, so they can apply the right advertising safeguards. If you close the question without answering, your age is treated as unknown. The game doesn’t keep your answer in your save data.
If you say you’re under 18, or you don’t answer, the game marks its ad requests for Google’s child and under-age protections. Google then shows only ads suitable for children and turns off personalized ads, interest-based ads and remarketing for those requests. These protections may take a short time to apply.
Parents and guardians can contact us about a child’s use of our games. Please don’t send us a child’s date of birth or identity document unless we’ve first agreed it’s necessary.
Advertising and privacy choices
Games with ads include Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK) and Google’s User Messaging Platform. Ads are optional rewarded ads, which you choose to watch for an in-game reward, and occasional full-screen (interstitial) ads.
To deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud, Google may process information such as your IP address, your approximate location inferred from it, device identifiers (such as your device’s advertising ID), ad interactions, and app and device performance information. What exactly is processed depends on your device, your age answer, your privacy choices and the game’s ad settings.
For players who are 18 or older, ads may be personalized only where the law allows it. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the game uses Google’s consent tools to ask for your choices first. You can review or change those choices at any time in the game under Settings → Privacy Terms. You can also reset or delete your device’s advertising ID in your Android settings.
You can read more in the Google Privacy Policy and in how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Purchases
None of our games currently offer real-money purchases, and we never collect payment card details ourselves. Some games include Google Play Billing so purchases can be added later. If they are, Google Play handles payment, and we receive only the information needed to confirm and deliver your purchase. We’ll update this notice before purchases are turned on.
Online features
Our games currently work without a server run by us. We plan to add online features in the future, such as online leaderboards, cloud saves or purchase verification.
Before any game starts sending information to our own servers, we’ll update this notice to explain what information is involved, which providers host it, why we use it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
Support and diagnostics
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments. Our email is hosted by Porkbun LLC in the United States, which processes those messages for us. Screenshots and logs can contain personal information, so please send only what’s needed.
Our games and their Google components may write technical information to your device’s logs. Our games don’t automatically send logs or crash reports to us.
Why we can use your information
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we rely on these legal bases:
- Providing the game (saving progress and settings on your device): what’s needed to provide the game you chose to play, and our legitimate interest in a working game.
- Personalized ads (adults only): your consent, which you can withdraw at any time under Settings → Privacy Terms.
- Non-personalized ads, ad measurement and fraud prevention: our legitimate interest in funding free games, and, where the law requires it, your consent.
- Applying age safeguards: our legal obligations and our legitimate interest in protecting younger players.
- Replying to your emails: our legitimate interest in helping you, or what’s needed to handle your request.
- Legal obligations, such as keeping records required by law.
How long information is kept
Game data on your device has no set expiry. It stays until you clear the game’s data or uninstall it, which usually removes it permanently, including progress and virtual items. Resetting a puzzle or level doesn’t erase all game data. Clearing or uninstalling a game doesn’t delete information held separately by Google, in our mailbox or in your device backups.
We keep support emails for up to 24 months after your question is resolved, unless we need them longer to meet a legal obligation or handle a dispute.
Google keeps the information it processes according to its retention policy.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle. Our games check their saved data for corruption so they can recover your progress, but that isn’t encryption, and we can’t promise that every piece of game or support data is encrypted.
Your choices and rights
You can change game settings, review your privacy choices under Settings → Privacy Terms, reset your advertising ID, clear a game’s data, and contact us about information you’ve given us.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent at any time. Some conditions and exceptions apply. To make a request, email [email protected]. We may ask for a little information to understand your request, and we’ll reply within one month. Google provides its own tools for the information it controls.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Greece, that’s the Hellenic Data Protection Authority. You can also contact the authority where you live.
Changes to this notice
We’ll update this notice when our games’ practices change, or when we add a new game, and show the new date at the top. If a change needs extra notice or your consent, we’ll ask before the change takes effect.
